Terms of use
The rules for using Ladle Club. Plain language, and short enough to actually read.

What this is
Ladle Club is a tool for hosting a small group that meets around a table: a supper club, a food club, a monthly lunch, or any private gathering of about a dozen people. A host opens a date, writes a menu, decides who sits down, and the app keeps track of what everyone owes. It is operated by Naveh Collective.
There is no public directory and no way to join a club on your own. Someone already in a club has to invite you. We are not a marketplace, we sell no tickets, and nobody outside your club can find it.
Your account
You sign in with a username chosen by whoever invited you. Keep your password to yourself. If you think someone else has it, change it or tell a host.
You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live. One account per person. Do not let anyone else use yours.
A host can switch off an account in their club. We can close an account that is being used to harass people or break these terms.
Clubs, hosts and what they can see
Each club is run by its hosts. They set the schedule, the price, the size of the table, and who gets a seat. They also see things ordinary members do not: everyone's balance in that club, the club mailbox, and reviews with the reviewer's name attached.
Cooks see review scores and comments for their own meals, but never who wrote them. If you would not want a host to read it, do not put it in a review.
We do not arbitrate between you and your host. A club is a group of people who already know each other, and disagreements are yours to sort out.
Food, allergies and safety
Meals are cooked by members in their own homes, or brought, or ordered in. Nobody here is inspected, licensed or trained, and we do not check any of it.
Dietary notes on a menu are written by whoever is cooking. They are a courtesy, not a guarantee. If you have an allergy or intolerance that matters, speak to the cook directly before you eat. Do not rely on a label in an app.
Naveh Collective is not responsible for what you eat or what happens after you eat it.
Money
We are not a payment processor and we never hold your money. The app is a shared record of who owes what, nothing more. Payment happens between you and your host, by whatever means you already use.
A balance shown here has no legal force on its own. It reflects what a host entered. If you think a charge is wrong, take it up with them.
Prices and shares are set by hosts. We do not set them, collect them, or refund them.
What you post
Menus, reviews, messages and names stay yours. By posting them you let us store and show them to the people in your club so the app can work.
Do not post anything unlawful, anything designed to harass someone, or anything you do not have the right to share. We can remove content and close accounts over it.
Availability
This is a small tool run by a small group. It may be unavailable, lose data, or change without notice. Do not use it as the only record of anything that matters to you.
We provide it as it is, with no warranty. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from using it, and any liability we do have is limited to what you have paid us, which is nothing.
Ending it
You can stop using the service whenever you like and ask for your account to be removed. A host can remove you from their club.
We can suspend or end access if these terms are broken.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will say so in the app. Carrying on using it after that means you accept the new version.
